AC3 - Load Failed Error
We understand that players experienced issues loading their save files after the previous patch update for language support. I can confirm that this issue has now been resolved.

Restart Steam to allow the latest update for Assassin's Creed 3 to be installed then try again. Please ensure that all DLC content that you own for the game is installed if you own any.

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

Issues with Assassin's Creed III Deluxe Edition Activation
Hey everyone!

We are currently investing an issue that is affecting the Deluxe Edition of Assassin's Creed III where you will be prompted for a CD Key on launch of the game.

As soon as there is an update on a resolution we will share more information here.

Hey everyone, thanks for your continued reports. As you have been mentioning, it's not currently possible to provide the Deluxe Edition of Assassin's Creed III through Steam due to a technical issue. As such, any players who purchased this edition will be fully refunded and provided the Standard Edition of Assassin's Creed III at no additional cost.

Please contact Steam Support if you are still affected by the issue in order to request a refund.

Given that this issue has been around for quite some time, leaving many players out in the dust, I think it is only reasonable that those of us who have to actually deal with the problem, should be compensated in some way.

I bought a deluxe version, and I have exactly the same problem. Already 10 days waiting for action from ubisoft support.

Asking for a refund in Steam, and then buying the standard version with the season pass actually works and contains all content from the deluxe version.

I know an easy solution for ubisoft:

Let all who purchased the deluxe version be credited a standard + season pass at no extra charge or hassle.

It took more than 2 weeks.
I Steam refuses to refund.
