Artax Games or anyone who may still be supporting this game, please add a button on character select to continue with the selected characters. Forcing every connected controller to play is just a needless pain and makes the docked Steam Deck a horrible way to play this game, since by default, it thinks the Steam Deck itself is a controller being used. Just making an option to continue would completely negate this problem.

I would've reviewed it positively with a comment of "overpriced but decent enough if you get it from a bundle" but for one major thing.

The game has a bug where you can be prevented from getting past player select screen because it detects one controller more than what you actually have connected.

The only way around this that I found was to start a completely new save, which wasn't the largest loss as I'd not gotten too far into it. Maybe there's another way about it, but I couldn't personally get anything else to work.

Nonetheless, the looming threat of potentially having to do it again led to my decision to complete the whole thing in one sitting just in case.

Other notes:

•The story isn't "just like" an episode of Bluey, as I'd heard from other reviews before playing, but it's close enough.

•Do not take my playtime as a point of reference, I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at keepy uppy.

•If you are remotely part of the target audience of the game or over, you will find infinitely more value in both quality and content in something like Lil gator game than this.

•If Bluey looks up your alley you probably won't regret playing this unless you paid anything in the range of half-full price, I just can't say I recommend it when it's been left in this state.
