Patch 4.0 Notes

Bugs / Problems:

1) PQube didn't update the version number on the main menu. It still says 3.0.

2) The patch wipes out any previous progress you have made. Ending Collections, Ghost Collections and save files are all gone. For new players this will have no effect.

3) Several (all, I think) cut scenes are losing sync now, especially the one where Jung Soo-jin steals cigarettes in the convenience store. The longer the scene, the worse it loses sync.

4) In Story 3 when you reach the Broadcast Studio for the dialog choice "Let's eavesdrop" or "Looks suspicious. Let's go inside", if you have English subtitles on and choose "Let's eavesdrop", the game will freeze. The workaround is to temporarily change subtitles to Korean. (This bug existed before the patch also)

5) It seems that KKOTNIM SWEETHEART is bugged since the patch. In the past, I was able to get this several times. Instead, I get a Key to Opinion Toll Box where the Memorial Table should be. (May not be a bug but seems like one. I'll update if I find a solution.)


Play Through Notes:

1) The endings in Story 1 & 2 are no longer tied together. This is accomplished in Story 2 by repeating the dialog choice found in Story 1.

Endings in Story 1:
After you leave the Auditorium and enter Main Building 1, if you continue down the hall towards the doors, you will get DISTRUST or DECEPTION endings. If you immediately turn left and go towards the windows, you will see a hanged woman ghost and then get WRONG CHOICE, CRUCIAL MISTAKE or CONFESSION endings.

Endings in Story 2:
At the beginning of Story 2, we see Kang Seo-yeon holding a photo of herself as a child with her father. After you evade the purple ghost in Main Building 1 by ducking into 2-10, you can go back down the hall and find the Family Picture behind the door of the second floor stairwell near the bathrooms. If you do NOT pick up the photo, you will get either KARMA or DISSONANCE endings. If you DO pick it up, you will get BLACKOUT, ENDLESS WHISPERS or KKOTNIM SWEETHEART (if it was not bugged - see above).

2) Steam achievements now match their descriptions. If you had any of the wrong ones from before the patch, you get to keep them but you no longer have that ending in your Ending Collection.
