Hello everyone! There is a tempoarary fix to this as I still work to patch it - turns out its due to a weird nvida driver setting. look at the most recent steam post - there is a way to fix it for now!

I'm also having this issue. Kinito opens the command prompt and gets all the way to "initializing program" after loading the assets and then the game crashes.
