After getting all the achievements, I can finally write a review.

The game is a 3rd person hero looter shooter with a grappling hook, somewhat similar to the Just Cause series. The game can be finished without spending a single dime, although it does become a bit grindy. Additionally, there is no DEI stuff in the game, and they are adding a lot of fan service skins. Finally, a game developer that is listening to the audience who are playing the game and not to the Twitter warriors.

Some fun gameplay but it gets old very quick when you realise the amount of grinding and the pathetic odds of actually getting anything.

I farmed 10 hours straight for a part and never got it.

Warframe does everything better.

If you ever thought Warframe didn't respect your time, don't touch this with a ten-foot pole.
Worst grindfest i've ever witnessed. Also for the WF vets : imagine a game in wich you have to forma every slot (10), to have and endgame build, because all mods costs like 12-16 units. And that it locks you with this build, preventing build flexibility, because all slots have polarities.

Then consider the fact levelling to max each time (it's a Warframe copy pasta system wise) takes 3x the time it takes in WF.

No trading, no ducats, no way to earn ingame currency (Caliber) and buy character slots, only solution is to buy from the shop.

If you are F2P, Warframe will give you much more in return for your time. If you are an average/heavy spender, you'd have much better time playing Destiny 2.

The game has its perks though, nice shiny UE5 graphics (clean but kinda souless tho), boss fights (Colossi) are not bad. Stealth is nowhere near what Warframe can offer in this department.

TFD is young, so i guess it may deserve a second look in a year or so to check how it evolved. It's Nexon though, so i got my doubts.

🎀The graphics level and gameplay are great up to a certain point, but all the mechanics are blatantly copied from Warframe and Destiny. From Warframe, Descendant has practically stolen the entire farming and crafting system, upgradeable mods that can be inserted into weapons and characters, the reactor that carries the same name, and even the material farming for building individual components that allow for constructing weapons and characters is exactly the same. The ability to increase mod space is also copied from Warframe. The ability system is identical to Warframe, with 4 abilities that are activated by collecting energy released from killed enemies. Using these abilities results in energy loss, just like in Warframe.

From Destiny, this game has copied the secondary missions, patrols, scattered missions across the game map useful for farming, and many game icons similar to Destiny. I haven't finished the story yet, but I've brought Bunny ultimate to level 40. The game has become too monotonous, the missions are all identical and already seen, defend, kill, and so on. I don't think the end game of this game is worth the time lost in building a build by repeating the same identical missions because the game lacks content, so building a build is useless. The crafting system is identical to Warframe with a timer, and to reset the time, you have to pay. This is understandable in a free-to-play game, but it is not mandatory. However, the point is that Warframe has much more content to play while waiting for the crafting to be completed. Some new summer costumes are copied from Stellar Blade, with little difference. The game has no melee weapons, no jumping or sliding attacks like in Warframe, there is no trading system, so it's not possible to trade, which is strange in an online PVE game. Perhaps it's a way to force players to farm/craft, tiring them with timers and pushing them to spend money to accelerate the process. Aesthetically beautiful but with little variety in maps and repetitive, boring gameplay.
The design of the bosses is all identical, the only difference is their resistances and weaknesses. The arenas are identical, the combat system is boring without any variety. Moreover, I don't understand the reason for making the screen completely white and falling from up during the boss fights.

The developers of Descendant didn't have to study anything in creating this title because all the ideas were literally stolen with a copy-paste.

Excessive prices, horrible drop % which are possibly BS. The RNG is a joke. The community is terrible and the "hub" part of the game is nonexistant, if you don't make friends on reddit/discord you're gonna be solo, because there isn't any reason for people to make friends since there are no clans/alliances systems. The General chat is full of spam, completely useless. The YouTubers are all clickbaiting with their farms and methods that everyone knows. Bunny is the meta character and most people you'll find are gonna be bunnies destroying containers and rushing as you can't keep up.

The past three Democratic primaries seem fairer than the rigged drops in this game.

If only it was the same mechanics for mission/bosses all the time, it might be fine. But grinding is MASSIVE and you need stats much more than skill. Not recommended.
