Do a prior mission line.
The mission previous to that one gave you the item you can find it in Cosumable > Miscellaneous then just search for EX. Its a crystal bottle with a weapon icon next to it.

Do the "Enhance the Unique Ability of Thunder Cage" Section, it will reward a weapon XP elixir for you to use at section 8.

If you already did it and you have no elixir... you're flucked.
Complete Weapon Modules 11 gives you the item you need for mission 12. Here is a screenshot:

If you don't have it and already did mission 11 then its a bug.

i already did the mission and i thinked i used i today because a friend was helping me on the game for a build for the thunder cage but how they can't think another way of doing this mission i don't know maybe by using the xp elixir or leveling the weapon to 40 it's not that hard to think about it

The "Complete Weapon Modules" chain is the only one that requires a weapon elixir to use for thunder cage to continue (that being step 2) if you already used the one from "Enhance the Unique Ability of Thunder Cage" section 8 before you got to step 2 on the prior chain, then you flucked up.

You have to be careful using your consumables for this event, as they can be used on anything and you can lock yourself out of continuing.

so time to return to warframe because the developer of this game can't think two step ahead and just lock player for bad design of mission ok message received shame on me to try and return on this game and give it a chance.

It is terrible design and quite an oversight.

Some steps in the event will consider something already done and skip ahead to the next step, however elixir usage is not one of them, among a few others (like upgrading modules to +5).

The Boost Event specifically states "We recommend going through the quests in page order."

You can skip around if you want, but that will cause you problems. In this case it is not a design problem it is a reading for comprehension probem.

no bro it's just bad design and no fault of player when they put you in the condition of using for error the forma on the weapon and then they give you an exp elixir and then the next set of mission you need to use that xp elixir for the weapon so not the fault of the player sorry.

If the player had been doing the quests in page order, that wouldn't have happened.

The Devs have provided a comphrensive, step by step, tutorial to get new folks a big boost in experience. If the player chooses to wonder off and screws up the tutorial, that is on him, not the devs.

No its not... this design is completely stupid. Especially when you consider that no one reads anything on our todays era xD

Fake news, first as a quest completion the gamer is actually prompted on the reward for the serum followed directly by the quest for using that serum. It takes a certain level of idiocracy to ignore it. But who knows there are people who can't clear a jumping tutorial game in cuphead. It's what it is, Darwin Awards exist after all.

Well, if they specifically state something, and then you ignore it by not reading

Who's fault is it?
