Progress is relatively slow in general, both for ranked/wt, battle pass (if you consider late levels) and sponsors too.
To get fans do daily and weekly quests (faster way) or just play the game, pretty sure, objective, kills, assists, revives should all count towards it.

i already saw guys with full set from sponsor, its took them 10+ days...

one sponsor is carried, but no
it was dissun sponsor, he is new
and second one vaiiya

Someone did a correlation breakdown last season, and they figured out boosting the amount of fans you earn per match was based on your class contribution. For example, Lights would get a boost in fans for contributing in combat score, Mediums with support score, and Heavies with support and objective score. Note that boosting fans earned by using the heal beam was disabled in 4.5.0, due to it being much too effective.

ACtually it's going pretty fast, I think soon I'll get the helmet. Fans vary depending on match but didn't understand on what factors. I have been playing a bit of world tour, power shift and bank it. Seems to go faster that way but I honestly have no idea.

yep, im playing like 1-2 times in a week with 2 hours maximum, and got 2nd page of sponsor...
