It's a free game. If you don't think the cosmetics are worth as much as they are, nobody is forcing you to buy them. But Embark can demand any amount they see fit. You can't go to a car shop and demand a new paintjob for half the price because you feel like it's too expensive.

I really like that they're doing it the apex way where you only need to buy it once (or accumulate enough premium currency over time) and as long as you finish the battle pass, you'll have enough to get the next one without paying extra.

I will say even though I haven't played Valorant in a good while and this apply's to LoL as well....Riot can make some damn good skins, I'd pay more if we got some skins of comparable quality.

They also have some incredibly novel skins. An LMG where the barrel has a roller coaster loop around it and it counts kills as passengers per trip.
A dagger that is a pencil.
A sword skin that is a baseball bat, with nades as baseballs.
A snow globe for the vanish bomb that shakes when inspected
A roulette wheel skin for an LMG where the drum/wheel spins faster as you shoot
A tamogotchi that reacts to almost every action you can take in game
Pets
Reactive skins (like the flames ones)
the amazing sledge hammers skins like the guitars that play notes when you whack people or a full tune when inspected
Or the witch with a broom stick
or a panda where it turns into a huge bamboo stick
or a firefighters hammer with a full set to match (most of these skins have matching or complimentary sets, like all the "nerd"/DnD stuff to go with the pencil dagger skin for EG)

Im not sure what you are on about with weapons sounds, some guns have different sounds which is nice but not all of them, also the sound in this game is pretty good, its not Doppler effect good like rust but guns make more punchy sounds in closed rooms or echo in large rooms with them having a slight echo when outside. Yes the skins are expensive and most of them are re textures but im more concerned why you arnt just playing valorant. Stop trying to turn this game into that hot garbage.
