.wav files no longer work after a laptop switch.

Easy work around is to convert them to MP3s sure, but I'd prefer to have them work again over sidestepping it.

All of a sudden Vegas 20 fails to launch

Vegas Pro 20 Steam Edition Build 370. May 4, 2023. Windows 10 OS. My program was working just fine a couple of days ago, I go to launch it, the blue Vegas screen loads up, all seems well, once it has finished the actual program itself does not launch / open. I checked task manager, it was NOT running. I did the SHIFT + CTRL to Clear Cache, that did not work. I also completely uninstalled and re-installed the program on Steam, same issue. Any solutions?...
