We've released a trailer for our new game - The Inn-Sanity. This is a plot-driven horror about several days in a hotel filled with monsters.

Many Russian players have asked us to add the Russian voice acting for Crimson Snow. Unfortunately, we didn’t had the ability to make it ourselves, so for a long time we were forced to refuse this request. But then we were contacted by the R.G. MVO (Mechanics VoiceOver).

Not only did they volunteer to voice our game, but they did an incredibly high-quality job!

Guys from the R.G. MVO team, thank you very much! This update is possible only thanks to your efforts!

In addition, we have made several fixes to the game. Here are the most important improvements:
• A number of errors in the Japanese translation have been corrected.
• When changing the length of the corridor, some players could fall through the floor. We have added a small fix that will automatically return you to the right place if this event happens to you.

Crimson Snow goes into full release today! Your letters, advice and suggestions have helped us make this game better, and we are very grateful to you for this. Today's update will be the largest we've done so far.

• We have added a new ending that can be achieved if you find all the clues and solve all the secret puzzles. We decided to make it based on your letters, which suggested adding a kinder version of the ending that is more in line with the spirit of Christmas. Well, now it's here!

• We have added support for Korean and Japanese. Thanks to our translators for making Crimson Snow available to so many new players!

We continue to work on the game and preparing it for a full release. In the meantime, we've got some news and updates that we want to talk about.

We've spent a lot of time improving the game code and reducing the load on the players' PCs. As a result, it should increase performance by an average of 15-20 FPS across the game.

We've also added a secret ending to the game that patient players can unlock before the final encounter with your opponent. We made it based on your emails and comments, so we hope you enjoy it. By the way, this is not the only ending we plan to add. The next one will also be based on your comments.

This is not all news. We were also contacted by one of the authors of the role-playing game with the same title, Crimson Snow. It turned out that his game came out in the fall of 2022, a few months before ours. We don't want to interfere with the development of the game from Thenutcrackerus with the release of our project, so we decided to change our name to Crimson Snow (2023) to avoid confusion. We can't link to their game here because Steam doesn't approve of other store ads, so if you want to support our fellow indie-developer, just search for "Crimson Snow Thenutcrackerus" and you can play another Crimson Snow!

Hi! We've spent the last few days improving the game's optimization in order to increase performance.

• Some models have been improved.
• Textures have been optimized.
• Shadows have been optimized.
• Hair physics have been slightly reworked and optimized.
• Minor bugs that slowed down the game performance have been fixed.

All this should make the game more stable and increase the average rate of FPS.

This is our last update for the next couple of weeks — we decided to take a little vacation and spend the holidays with our families. But after the New Year, we will return and continue to work on the development of Crimson Snow.

Changes and fixes from 12/11/2022:
• Mistake in the German translation, where some words were written with a lowercase letter was changed.
• The design of the windows on the second floor has been improved — some of them gain different view and some gain ice patterns.
• During the collapse of cabinets in the basement, cabinets now fall behind the player as well. This is made to prevent confusion of where to go.
• An extra line was written on a postcard in the kitchen by mistake. Fixed.
• Various corrections have been made to the German translation.

• Some pyrotechnic lights could be picked up an unlimited number of times. Fixed.
• Some elements of the environment in the basement and on the second floor were moved, so that the direction to the player's goals was more intuitive.
• Enemy navigation in the final part of the game has been improved.
• Now, you cannot close the door if the enemy is already in the doorway.
• Light optimization was improved.
• Street optimization was improved.
• Incorrect formatting of item descriptions in Chinese translation was fixed.
• Different improvements to the German, Portuguese, Turkish and French translations were added.

• During the chase in the basement your opponent could get stuck in the mechanical door. Fixed.
• Now you don't have to accurately aim at the pyrotechnic flare to take it out of the drawer — you just need to click on the drawer again.
• Now the interaction area of pyrotechnic flares become larger to make it easier to interact with them.
• A bug in screen resolution settings has been fixed.
• Interaction with the door in the scene of the first meeting with the enemy, during which your pursuer could get stuck in the door, has been fixed.
• Now you can hide under the table by aiming at the entire table.
• We fixed a bug where the player could climb onto the table during getting out from under the table.
• Now, if you have a gun, you can shoot the lock on the door by simply clicking on the door.
• We fixed a bug where pyrotechnic flare behaved strangely if you use it before the start of the scene in the hallway of the second floor.
• The first clue that you can get under the table now is more visible.

• In the dark room on the first floor, there was a small chance that the next event would not trigger. Fixed.
• Fixed minor graphical issues with the expanding corridor.
• In the shrinking corridor there was a chance that the players could fall through the floor if they pressed hard against the right wall during the animation. Fixed.
• We changed the font and increased the size of the letters for reading notes.
• UI settings didn't properly display some menus on low resolution monitors or screens with 4:3 aspect ratio. Fixed.
• Enemy navigation was slightly improved.
• In some places the player's footsteps in the snow didn't make any sound. Fixed.
