Hitstop throw fix
Fixed a bug where canceling a throw move during a hitstop instant caused it to fail and behave incorrectly.

Hey Players!

Thanks for continuing to battle with us in Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate! This hotfix rolls out a handful of key improvements and bug fixes to keep your experience running smooth and solid:

Enemy Clearing Fix
Resolved an issue where certain enemies weren’t being properly counted, which could prevent progression in some areas.

Ranking Display Tweak
The leaderboard now correctly caps at 999 entries as originally intended. Keep climbing and make your mark among the top!

Steam Offline Launch Support
The game now boots normally on Steam while offline—as long as your Steam client is running.

Throw Attack Adjustments
Fixed an issue where enemies could become stuck after being hit with a strike throw.
If a character is damaged mid-throw, the game now handles it correctly without freezing.
Additional Stability Updates
Improved error handling to prevent edge-case progression blockers and online play disruptions.

We have an important announcement from our game producer Masaki Sakari in regards to the launch of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate.

To all of our fans, supporters, and beloved Phantom Breaker community,

The release date for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate, originally scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2025, has been postponed to Thursday, April 17, 2025.

First and foremost, we want to extend our sincerest apologies to you—everyone eagerly awaiting the game’s release. While the single-player experience is nearly complete, we encountered unforeseen delays with the implementation and testing of the online modes. Enabling online cross-play multiplayer across all platforms (Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch) is an incredibly challenging feature, but we’re committed to our mission of letting our awesome fans play together at launch.

The delay is entirely my responsibility as the producer. We kindly ask for your patience until the new release date of April 17.
