Anyone have an issue with the game opening and closing immediately before it even changes from my desktop screen?

Not sure its a bug but i had two successful runs with the starting charcter but haven´t unlocked any other...How do you unlock them if this isn´t a bug?

Any way to turn off the timer completetly? I know run settings allow you to increase the time. But I wish to just do away with the mechanic altogether. Since I was pretty sold on this game for being a turn-based survivors game. And it's annoying that you get a bunch less progression for wanting to play more casual. I personally don't care if it disables achievements or might make the game unbalanaced, Because the game would be amazing without it....
