• Race (Team-Time-Trial): Fix a possible classification difference between provisional race rankings and latest results page. It is now the 4th rider on the team who determines the team’s time for TTT rankings.
  
• Pro Cyclist: Fixed the bug which did not reset the Pro Cyclist points at the start of the new year. In order to maintain balance, the points awarded according to Pro Cyclist’s level have been revised slightly downwards.

A new update is available for PCM, after a week in Beta!

• Pro Cyclist: Fix "SuperLeader" skill's bug which did not offer the bonus for the teammate.
  
• AI/Race: Fix the bug where early breakaway won nearly everytime on small continental races with slighty hill relief.
  
• Race (Individual Time-Trial): Fix energy “exploit” during Mountain Time-Trials (same fix as on patch 3 but for ITT's).
  
• Race (Team-Time-Trial): Improve AI: fix riders which were often dropped and most teams exploded because of too big differences between bad and good time trialists.
  
• Career: Improve rider's decline: now decline happens a bit earlier than before and few riders may have a very early or very late decline.
  
• Career: Improve balancing for the young riders who stops their career early: no more juniors 2) Riders with low potential will tend to end their career but in a less systematic way and more dependent on their age (a low potential at 20 years old will be less likely to retire than a 25 years old rider for example).
  
• Career: Fix victory's counter in the rankings'page which was not reset at the start of the new year.
  
• Career: Fix victory's total in rider's page (Career tab), the number was sometimes not coherent.
  
• DB: Optimize career's sizes/palmares.
  
• Multiplayer : Fix Time-Trial bug (both ITT’s and TTT’s) which caused the cyclists of a missing player to race on a slow pace.

A new update is available for PCM in Open Beta!

If you're interested to try this update before it goes live on the public servers, here is how to join the Open Beta:

• Open Steam > Library
  
• Right-click on Pro Cycling Manager 2023 > Properties
  
• Select Beta and select "open-beta" in the beta participation dropdown

• Freshness/recovery system improvements during stage races: freshness decreases more slowly now.
  
• Freshness/recovery system improvements during stage races: green energy gauge get less reduction for a given freshness.
  
• Remove a duplicate effect of fatigue during stage races in one-off mode.
  
• Race Gameplay/Physio: remove an effect that caused riders to have gradual decrease in watts during their second half of their green bar.
  
• Clean news on “month turn” if you have more than 5000 news to avoid a possible but rare block of the game with some mods.
  
• Fix a 3d-race crash.
  
• Modders request feature: if you have a U23 team with no real main team (link = team 119/free agents), the country set for transfer policy will be the U23 team.
  
• Fix a bug in the AI U23 draft: Sponsor's regions were not taken in account.
  
• AI U23 draft: Small tuning to give a bit more importance for sponsor's regions.

• Improve AI on short and easy hilly classics: early breakaways win too often
  
• Team Time Trials: improvements and fix problems with teams often splitting in different groups after several kilometers.

A new update is available for PCM.

Race

• Soften physical attributes effects (Stamina, Resistance): they act a little later on the green energy bar.
  
• Adjust Recovery & Freshness for stage races: a bit more green energy for a given freshness, and a bit less difference between riders for recovery between two stages.
  
• Fix energy “exploit” during long climbs (alternation Effort cursor 95/30% to empty then fill the red energy). A low effort means now a smaller power and thus cancel exploit’s effect.

Pro Cyclist

• Objectives: races during targets give a bonus to “race-day condition”
  
• Objectives: fix the bug which displayed objectives for Pro Cyclist (footer and Riders page)
  
• Improve progression of Stamina and Resistance attributes. To make the most of these settings, you have to start a new game (on an existing game, the improvements are present but less marked).

Career

• Fixed the bug “I can't choose a trainer for U23 runners”: the component has been removed (intented behavior). There is no penalty of riders’progression from U23 teams.
  
• Fixed the win count bug for towers in the Archives page.
  
• Fixed the bug when the player had no U23 team, the other U23 teams did poor recruitment (sometimes only 3-5 riders)

Multiplayer

• Fixed a bug displaying the race name in the calendar (variable instead of the race’s name).

Various

• Addition of the “Medium Mountain” attribute in the “Start list” page
  
• Fixed display of sponsor objectives icon instead of rider’s objectives icon in the Calendar page.
  
• Update Jerseys / Database

Hotfix

• Fixed a bug that prevented proper recruitment of U23 teams when the player did not have a U23 team of his own.

• Fixed bugs that prevented the ladder from being functional.

• AI Roster improvements for leaders to participate more in the Dauphiné and Tour d'Helvétie in June.

• Fixed a bug that caused sprinters to often participate in Medium Mountain Classics (Gran Premio San Sebastian, GP di Lombardia). Fix only valid on new games AND if the mods also fix the problem on their side.
  
• Increase in maximum budgets for teams (1.2 M€ / month => 1.5 M€ / month).
  
• Various fixes for visual issues or component overruns.

• Fixed a possible crash when a player loads or creates a game.
