Star Survivors is about to end its Early Access status on September 20th, 00:00 PST, and will transition to full release.

The game's price will not increase, and we will be launching a new historical low discount of -30% off for 14 days.

The reason for ending the EA is that the game's content and gameplay have reached the scale we originally planned, which is also Ken's wish.

But we are well aware that there are still bugs with the game. Going fully released does not mean that our work is done; we will continue to focus on fixing bugs and optimizing the gaming experience.

The official release of the game will include 2 new ships and 6 new weapon cards from the developer branch, as well as some fixes for existing issues, so please stay tuned for the update announcement.

Since Erabit officially took over the development of Star Survivor two weeks ago, we've already released the first bug fix of the year. Now, we're thrilled to showcase our recent work—two brand-new ships!

While many of us are fans of classic "Star Trek" space odysseys, we know that giant robots like "Gundam" hold a special place in the hearts of our players too. So, we're excited to introduce our latest mecha ships:

🛠️ Hello commanders! As we promised two days ago, the first wave of bug fixes is here!
Erabit will be carrying on Producer Ken's philosophy and roadmap of providing stable issue fixes and producing brand new content.

We fixed these issues in this new version:

• Memory leak: the mobile porting team has fixed this issue, and now we're porting it back to the PC version, so everyone will soon be able to say goodbye to the annoying reboot every 30 minutes.
  
• Fixed a bug that caused beam weapons to fail to hit any enemy while the ship was rotating.
  
• Fixed the bug where AI enemies were stuck and had a small probability of not moving
  
• Adjusted the values of earned achievements so that they can be regained
  
• Fixed the problem of crazy lag and frame drops after playing with the gamepad for a while
  
• [Card] Black Hole Generator upgrade card - +1/+2 Black Hole Lifespan in-game pre-alert error, and did not take effect in-game
  
• [Card] God Strike equipment cannot fire properly
  
• [Card] Shadow Clone, advanced card, summoned shadow ship does not move in place
  
• [Upgrade] [Card] Charged Shield's "+0.1 Attack Chance Drone/Shield Damage or Loss of Lifesteal. " is not valid within the Upgrade Deck game
  
• [Card] Area Burn attribute for Sensor Mines and Orbital Mines is not effective
  
• [Card] Ion Beam Turrets are not triggering attacks during ion blasts

Due to producer Ken's personal reasons, Erabit has decided to take over the work he left behind after obtaining his consent, details of which can be found in our last announcement.

👋Hello everyone! This is Liya from Erabit. We assist the solo developer Ken with publishing Star Survivor.

It's been a while since our last official announcement in December 2023. First, I apologize for the long silence. Here's an update on what we've been working on over the past six months.
Due to Ken's busy schedule and personal challenges, he has found it difficult to maintain the game. After discussing it, Ken entrusted Star Survivor to Erabit. Following his design ideas and roadmap, we will continue to fix the game's issues and add new content. Actually, we already have a substantial content update planned.

We have reviewed your feedback and comments, identified the most critical bugs, and have already begun fixing them. You can see these fixes in the latest game update:

• Memory leak: The mobile porting team has resolved this issue, and we are now porting the fix back to the PC version. Soon, you won't have to restart the game every 30 minutes.
  
• Beam weapon bug: Fixed an issue where beam weapons wouldn't hit enemies when the ship was rotating.
  
• Frame drops with controllers: Fixed a problem causing severe frame drops after using a controller.
  
• Enemy freeze bug: Fixed a bug causing enemies to freeze and stop moving.
  
• Achievement adjustments: Adjusted the values of achievements so they could be regained.

We also have some planned fixes that you will see in future update announcements.

In addition to ongoing maintenance, we will also add new content and optimizations based on Ken's design ideas: optimized UI displays, new cards, new spaceships, and more. When we're ready, we'll recruit tester players from the Steam community and Discord[discord.gg]. Stay tuned!

Early Access has helped Star Survivor become a better game, and we are very grateful for your support. As previously mentioned, we believe the game content is nearly complete (although some bugs still need fixing, which we will address soon). We plan to exit Early Access very soon. This does not mean the end of game maintenance but rather a new beginning. We will release a new content pack that marks the end of Early Access, featuring new ships, a ship skin system, new cards, and a new challenge mode.
