Tonight, while satisfying my curiosity over whether Daybreak had finally gotten around to making a mobile version of EQ, I learned two things:
1) It's available here on Steam.
2) Steam Link is a thing.
(Even better than what I was looking for. Now I can play on my TV.)

I did the Steam install on my PC, installed Stem Link on the TV, and paired my PS4 remote.
So far so good...

But, when I try to load the game I get stuck on the Big Picture screen with the spinning circle around the Steam logo, like its trying to load the game, which doesn't go away.

When I hop back over to the PC to see what's going on, I hit Alt-Tab to find the Daybreak Launcher is waiting for me to hit Play. I do that, but then the game loads regularly, which would be fine except now I'm working outside of Steam Link, so of course the controller won't work. Meanwhile, the Steam Link windows never updates, still spinning circle.

Has anybody out there gotten this to work?
