I am almost sure you will get disappointed with Monster Hunter Wilds too.

I recommend don’t preorder and don’t purchase it until is it 1 year old.

At this point there is no point buying these new modern games anymore. Just play 15-25 old games from GOG->DRM free, no online connection required. Are much better. There is plenty of them: Stalker, Gothic, Half Life, KOTOR, Bioshock, Amnesia, Broken Sword, Thief, Morrowind and so on. They are cheap too.
They run great on any basic modern PC. No need to buy expensive, overpriced components. No need to get annoyed by bad performance, lackluster, unpolished, unfinished, made with no love games full of DRM, DLCS, micro transactions.
I have mostly played lately only old good games.
You should follow my lead. You will be more happy and have more fun.

Agreed. Kind of regretting upgrading to a RDNA3 card now, since RDNA1 could have carried me a few more years given the dire situation of gaming industry. Capcom is still one of the very few publishers releasing good games though, and I hope they keep working to better this product.

Another problem these latest games, latest new franchise have is they lack a memorable badass, cool character. Games are not badass and cool anymore.
We had/have the Nameless Hero in Gothic, The Doom Slayer in Doom, Agent BloodRayne in BloodRayne, Gerald of Rivia in Witcher, Gordon Freeman in Half Life, The Mark One: Strelok in STALKER, JC Denton/Adam Jensen in Deus Ex, Garrett in Thief, Revan the ancestor of the Skywalker family in KOTOR, Kratos in God of War, Master Chief in Halo.
Games now days mostly(overwhelmingly) simply suck in a major way.

"Dat's rite! WElcome to modern games, now pay up for worst experiences!" - Read this in Patrick Star's voice, cause that's how you sound like.

Bro, SF6 and DMC5 came out great. The problem is Dogma balls 2's game design, not Capcom.

Thank you, i love you too.

The core problem Capcom needed to release something to please shareholders this something was DD2. You can’t just blame the devs if they don’t even get enough time/resource or money to fight your other beloved branches.

That's what I do. Real gaming no longer exists. All you can do is cycle through your collection of old games. I just did Wizardry 8 again, and got a big reminder of how good games can really be.

I taught i no longer have the patience for gaming but then I load a old game and I realized these modern games are just boring and not fun.
The more I go in time as in the older the game is, the more fun I have, more good a game is. I don't even care about the graphics. These clunky, low polygon game have their own vibe and atmosphere that one cannot find in newer games.
I play them at 4k or 8k or what I can maximally can.
What I love also is old games are clear. No blurry and fuzzy looking games. It looks like I got my sight again.
Just played Stalker SOC with OGSR mod on Veteran. That game is so atmospheric, fun and immersive.
I tried the free demo for <30min and I'm glad I didn't purchase it.
Remember what we lost for this. In an alternate universe, DDOnline is still live.
I'm disappointed by the lack of professionnalism, complete disregard of making a good basic story like they did for DD1, whose story was more compelling and well built to fit with everything that is happening in the world and well constructed to lead you to undersand the events.

Disappointed by the lack of a proper endgame and a game launched in a worst unfinished state then DD1 was at launch, at the very least it had a proper endgame loop that was long in the everfall to check all rooms, chests and clear encounters, randomly try to loot your gear to fight the ur dragon, offline or online.

My main disappointment is how capcom is treating this franchise, outside of the combat and physics simulation interactivity during combat and an "okay" level open world, everything else.. is so uncooked. and varies so much in levels of quality making the whole of it very dysfunctional from an homogeneity standpoint.

I don't regret purchasing it but i did really expect much more seriousness from capcom on this game. especially as a more modern attempt they had to give it their all, and to me it looks like that outside of combat, they gave it only their temporary junior or trainees.

Cool story; meanwhile in the real world MHWild runs at exactly the same framerate.
most AAA games these days are being released in a beta condition without the courtesy of saying you're paying for a beta up front ... no longer buying any games until 6 months to a year of polishing has been done ... preorder bonuses aren't even worth it anymore.
I am in the same boat OP.
