What is wrong with my game? (Bug?glitch?pc settings?)
This problem began to popup after SW release. There's like weird texture bug on this specific leaves model. I'm fine if its like only one area, but this leaves model are used everywhere.

I tried to re-download the game for many time to fix it but to no avail. I also tried to mess with my nvidia control panel which kinda fixed it by changing one setting in monitor setting from g-sync to fixed refresh. But that same setting will make a bunch of new weirder bugs.

I am at lost at this point. I really want to play this game again. But this frickin bug ruin the experience.

So, specs, settings you're running on and were you using mods before separate ways launched?
I'm running on
Processor : AMD Ryzen 5 5600H
RAM : 16GB
Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050

I'm using nvidia all default setting. I downloaded bunch of mods pre-SW release with no issue. This issue began to pop out after i installed bunch of mods after SW release. So i thought that was causing the problem, but after i uninstalled all of them the problem is still exist. I already re-download this game 3 times, clean files with no mods but the bug is still there.

Okay, so, uninstalling doesn't remove leftover mod files. Uninstalling only removes the files steam its self downloads from valve's servers.

You may have leftover mod files.

Also: Don't use nvidia's settings. Just, avoid anything from geforce experience entirely. Let the game auto detect. It's better at it than nvidia's godawful software.

That actually solved it.

I search a solution of how to clean a steam game files. So i need to deleted all of my RE4 game files except with a .pak on it's name to remove all of possible leftover mod files, and then verify integrity files through game properties. It re-download the missing files with a size about 9 gigs.

I already tested open the game 3 times to make sure and the texture bugs are gone. TYSM.

Not a problem.

It's a pretty common issue with mods on steam as nothing really explains that uninstalling doesn't remove the folder its self so that gets left behind.
