Getting error on my new Samsung OLED TV
Hi all. Just noticed since playing Resident Evil 4 remake which I’ve had for a few months that all of a sudden, after pausing the game and turning my tv on, once switching it back on after approx 10 minutes I get an error which is saying it’s in my C program files and is a Fatal D3D error (22, DXGI_ERROR_INVALID_CALL,0x887a0001)

This has ONLY started happening since I hooked up my Samsung 55 inch S90D OLED (I’m here in Australia) and only seems to be happening to this particular game.

I have zero other issues with it (so far) but just curious if anyone else has encountered this strange error before? I’ve been able to replicate it 3 times yesterday and today and all the exact same way- pause, turn off tv, go away for about 10-15 minutes, turn tv back on and it’s stuffed. I have to control/alt/delete to remove that error code as nothing else works.

Please help if anyone has any solutions!

By the way, I’m playing in 4K 144hz on a 4070 ti super with a 14700 i7 with 32 gigs of ram. On my old Sony LED I never had this issue but I can’t actually remember pausing the game and turning my tv off whilst playing this game! It was just cause I had stuff to do that I did it yesterday! Crazy coincidence but there you go!
