I bought the deluxe edition for 40$, since Separate ways cost 10$ and maybe we would have Ada assignement for 10$ I would have bought them, for 60$ which is the true value of the game instead of 80$ with what they offered so far without a sale.
Learn from your mistakes and you'll be fine in the futur, also most games go on sales at some point, I bought the game for 40$ and got the same experience as someone who paid 60$/70$, buy games at full price to support devs, like I bought Palworld for 30$ and they don't try to milk players, got more hours in Palworld than RE4 remake too.
This practice is completely normal in the industry.
Ya'll still crying about this?
If the DLC had a price under 15 we ain't owing them a ♥♥♥♥. Wtf is you on about?
i bought the game at launch no dlc, do i care that this game is cheaper now? no. welcome to economics, the people who really wanted it, bought it day one, the rest who are on the fence waited for it to go get cheaper, the rest who may only buy it at a severe discount wait even longer.
When you buy a game on release, you're paying extra to be the first to play it, this is not new to Resident Evil, or Capcom, or gaming in general.
There is a real player incentive to pony up and pay they "Buy Now" tax, and that's to avoid spoilers, gain a competitive edge if it's a PvP game, or chase views and subscribers if you're a streamer. If you don't care about being first, or any of the other things, then there's no reason to buy a game day one.
Learn patience and wait for a lower price with more content, if you're too excited and need the game on release, then KNOW that you're paying the "Buy Now" tax.
If you didn't feel the Deluxe was worth it's price, wait for a discount (or buy on GMG.)
