Well at least i know i am not alone.
The game performance is really weird to consider that the PC Specs is the problem tbh.
if it's consistent, then yes it's my PC. but no, i can play the game fine with high FPS for long. until the drop happens, sometimes even randomly not just when the Village Raining
I think, it doesn't matter? I play the game fine as stated on the thread, with Mid-High(Mostly High) Settings for like 5 Hours of gameplay, then Rescued Ashley, Village is Raining, FPS is Dropping from 90s to 20s.
Setting the game back to Low(Which reduce the VRAM Load by much) doesn't really fix the sudden and presistent FPS Drop, still 20FPS, which shouldn't happen. if the Hardware is the problem, changing the game settings should at least throw in extra 20FPS. but the FPS Drop stays.
EDIT: And Raining on Quarry fighting the Big Guy still 90FPS avg.
Anyhow, I can deal with some fps drops during small parts of the game.
my performance tank randomnly multiple times now, like when the black fountain fight inside the castle it got stutter randomly. But still running 90FPS when it's "normal" on high settings.
Damn, sorry, forgot to update. Anyway, the game ran smoothly without any kind of issue for me.
Just played the game the other day, and it ran fine after the Separate Ways and Mercenaries update. so i guess they fixed it.
Other thing that I did was changing the system page file from HDD to SSD, so remove any page file on your HDD and just change it to SSD.
