I think the point is you don't really know. In broad strokes, it's more or less true. Everything about him and Bob and his brothers, for example. There was definitely a Jim Reed, too, though it's anybody's guess if Silas really did the insult thing to fool him into showing himself.

That's the thing. A lot of the people and events that show up in Silas' story are real, such as the Lincoln County War and Johnny Ringo. Dwight was also real; he's better known as David Dwight "Ike" Eisenhower. But the accuracy of the little details in the story are harder to pinpoint, as Silas keeps changing those details as the game progresses. It COULD be that because those events became so well-known, he just read about them and inserted himself into those events for the sake of the story and to lure out Bob.

I don't think he could ever be faster than Jesse james, him almost killing Franks is also impossible lol those two were a menace, the only way someone killed Jesse was ♥♥♥♥♥ shooting him from the back
