Have you tried running the game as Administrator? That works for some people.
I set "Run as Administrator", but nothing.
Windows 11.
If I go to the local folder's location and try to run the executable, I get the 0xc0000007b error.
Googled the problem and tried anything I came across, nothing works.
I finished the game twice before on older computers so I'm rather confused why this one doesn't work.
EDIT : Re-installed, the game still still not start.

Game refuses to boot on CPU's with more than 10 cores.
Scroll down to the 'Issues Fixed' section.
I do recommend people who had problem to try this the last thread I saw this seems to have fixed the problem for a lot of people so, I guess good odds.
1. Download Process Lasso:
- Download and install the free software called Process Lasso. This software will allow you to set your CPU Affinity.
2. Open Process Lasso:
- Ensure that Steam is running.
- Open Process Lasso and go to the 'Active Processes' tab.
3. Find and Configure 'steam.exe':
- Locate 'steam.exe' in the list of active processes. Note that it may disappear and reappear; just wait if necessary.
- Right-click on 'steam.exe', navigate to CPU Affinity -> Current -> Select CPU Affinity.
4. Set CPU Affinity:
- Check only CPU 0-4 (a total of five check-boxes), then click 'OK'.
5. Launch the Game:
- Try launching your game. If it doesn't work, experiment further with the CPU Affinity settings.
Note: You will need to repeat this process every time you start Steam and wish to play the game.
