Unplayable - "Normal" is too hard!
I am stuck in a stupid circus where some throw dynamites and shoot at mee. I tried it about a hundred times and am so frustrated, I tried to change game settings but already was at the lowest "normal" level. So there is no way to proceed for me in the game. Stupid, stuipid,. stupid! :toxictitan:

Just takes some practice.

This is kind of a kill-them-before-they-kill-you kind of game. Personally, I prefer the rifle.

If you can't beat the lowest difficulty level then try other game. Really. Easy mode has some problematic moments, but most of the game it is really easy. Though you are not a mech warrior. Use cover, when u get hit hide first to get back health. You don't need to sprint all the way thru the level.

When u get perks it becomes easier. Currently I'm finishing hard (not the real west) game and had only one or two moments where I had to spend some time repeating. The worst is the hounted town... jeeezzz... I hate this one, though I could like it in terms of the lore ;-P

I just finished my 3rd time through. I admit that that one had me very frustrated first time through. What worked on Normal was that I had paid attention to the tips. When he would change cover, I started aiming at his waist. Eventually, I blew up his belt. The end. 2nd time on harder difficulty, not sure what finally got him. I still tried the waist trick to no avail and kept switching cover to avoid dynamite instead of shooting. Third time same as second but final touch was split dynamite which perk I had picked up.
Good luck.

nah the game is not that hard, come on !

I admit, he is a bit right.
BUT:
I played hard first, it was really hard (especially some situations), then easy for recollections, now im in the middle in true west difficulty, and I have to say, itrue west is easier with upgrades, than hard was without any upgrades at first. So I think the key is the upgrade tree.

2:
Where I cant advance, it looks like impossible for me, its the apache territory map. It seems this map eats quicker the combo, than any other map (one missed shot and it ends). 42 was my higher combo many times, and it gives only 2 stars. Any tips?

Henry Plummer (the boss suggested in OP):
That was really a pain at my first play, I died many times too, then after a restart i throw all my dynamites up out of anger, where Plummer spawns first, and it took 3/4 of his life, some rifle shoot, and the job was done.
And it worked on all the three difficulties, so I think the key is throwing dynamites.

OK, I quit, >I am not willing to waste more time on this stupid scene. Played for hours, always die.

Sounds like someone needs more red meat in their diet

I'm stuck on authentic difficulty. While "hard" was kind of hard, but not very hard, I really have problems with some duels on authentic. Most of the game on authentic is just little harder than on hard and fully playable, even fun. But duels... I hate duels in this game, I didn't like them even on lower difficulty ;-P

I guess that would make it a Hardin.. (that guy kills me)

There are two difficulty spikes in the game - early on canyon ambush where you run out of ammo and this dynamite guy. He is pain in the rear. Especially when playing on gamepad. Shooting to flying dynamite using controller is next to impossible.

You can defeat him by ducking behind wooden crates to the left. Enemies are not good at throwing dynamites over obstacles and most sticks will bounce off and land on the other side of crates. Just do not panic when you see dynamite icon too close - it will not harm you through the crate. It should give you more controlled combat and you can lean out and shoot in convenient moments. Aim for his dynamite belt and throw dynamite at him - both tactics are very efficient.

Unfortunately this is not 100% reliable tactic, sometimes dynamite will fall next to you resulting in instant death. But you should get lucky after few tries and have enough time to defeat him.

Personally I believe that some duels (especially against two enemies) are harder than that, though I agree that "dynamite man" is a pain in a$$. I've stopped playing game halfway on authentic plus, but I expect that shootout with ghost would be a problem as well. I had some problems with this part on normal difficulty.

Endgame level cemetery is difficult if you invested in revolvers or shotguns. Enemies are sniping like crazy on open spaces. However if you invested in riffles it is piece of cake with auto-headshot perk and shooting dynamite perk (enemies usually spawn close to each other)
I finished it on hard. It was easy until stand offs and mexican stand off was annoying

Sharing my experience just in case someone's looking for help…

Every time I played that boss, playing offensive worked great.

Attacking first
Throwing all the dynamite at him and his goons, and when he tries to shoot you using concentration on his head.
Also getting rid of the goons as soon as they appear.

Splitting dynamite perk is super helpful.
