How to Translate + Patches
Here's something that will help you translate the game : sworcery•rar[drive.google.com]

  • extract.bat

  • patch.bat

  • list.txt
    locales\dialog.tsv locales\strings.tsv
How to use
  1. Locate the game folder and extract "sworcery.rar" in the "res" folder
  2. Run "extract.bat"
  3. Google Sheets[docs.google.com] :
    » Import the two TSV files from the "locales" folder
  4. Have fun translating the English columns
  5. Download the translated files using the TSV file format
  6. Replace the two TSV files
  7. Run "patch.bat"
  8. Play the game, enjoy the translation, redo steps 4 to 7 if needed
  9. Share your "sworcery.dat" and "sworcery.dat.cat" translated files !

French version not working with the 2023 #sworcery Refresh, for now.

We've just released a minor update with unofficial support for more languages without needing to download anything extra.

Instructions:
Make sure the game isn't running.
Find the config.txt file. On Windows the default Steam location is here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<Steam_Id>\204060\local
Add or edit the language line like so language = French
Valid languages are English Japanese French Italian German Spanish, English is the default and will be selected if the language isn't valid.
Launch the game, hopefully you'll see text in the selected language.

Actually, if it's still the French dialogs from the Switch version, this translation had a lot of problems, for example :

So the "better" French translation released in June 2015 will need to be adapted for the 2023 version.
