Oh, got your attention! Well... I think the steam version is corrupt or somethin'! After downloading the DRM-free humble bundle version, that version seemed to work. Moreover, each time I tried to use the Steams' "check file integrity" it always gives me that 1 file is corrupt! Even after it tries to fix the issue or re-installation! My OS: Windows 10.

Did you send us your log.txt file? The game is working correctly for us here on several Windows 10 PCs so it likely isn't corrupt. Are you using the Steam Beta? Sometimes that can cause problems with games running correctly. You can check for sure under Steam -> Settings -> Account.

I have the disc read error on win 10. Beta issue is not relevant. The issue appeared after the may updates.

Am I also allowed to send my files to resolve this issue?

The disc read error is more related to the failed download sometimes.
Overall the game doesn't even launch.

I got to say that I completed the game already and was just amazed now it fails to run for my brother.

Also I don't have config.txt or log.txt in the game folder. Possibly something is horribly broken. I took the liberty of presuming the update must have done something.

Overall the game doesn't even launch.

I got to say that I completed the game already and was just amazed now it fails to run for my brother.

Also I don't have config.txt or log.txt in the game folder. Possibly something is horribly broken. I took the liberty of presuming the update must have done something.

Well now it started to download 400 mb. I'll see. My Internet isn't so fast.

No such folder in userdata. Other numbers but not the one you wrote.

Alright it works!

Update: The game launched now! Through trial and error I determined that the config.txt file was the issue!
I changed my monitor to 1920x1080 and the game while trying to adjust to it constantly failed to launch.

Manually I changed the resolution to the monitor I have realistically and now it launches without any problems!

The config.txt and log.txt were not just in Steam\userdata\110979439\204060\local

That doesn't work for me.

The path to these files is this: D:\Steam\userdata\70040097\204060\local for my PC.
