No patch notes for a sizeable update...?!

Greetings, i've played this game multiple times in the past and i'm just so happy that Linux / Steam Deck support was added! Sadly, i seem to be unable to play it. (It's been some time since i played it the last time) I tried to play it on my Steam Deck yesterday. Installation and Starting worked fine. I could start a new game from menu and talk to Olgied and Ulfgierd. I picked up the hammer... but i'm unable to use the hammer, the scene were you smash the pot with magic does not start. It's pathetic. The game looks nice, but the animations are choppy, the loading times shouldn't even be there. The performance just sucks. How the hell can a development team be fine with this work. :/
