somehow can't get past the first wolf sequence, the second wolf spawn and attacks out of my reach to shoot it. no matter how i put my graphics. :/

I already play this game b4 but i playing it again and from start to end playing this on steam deck. It was fun to the end.

Tomb Raider (2013) didn’t just reboot a franchise—it reintroduced us to Lara Croft like never before. And we were so here for it.

Yes, the action is over-the-top. Yes, she gets impaled through the abdomen within the first 30 minutes. And yes, she still climbs rock walls, leaps across collapsing bridges, and pulls off parkour that would make a ninja weep. But do we care? Not in the slightest. It’s Lara Croft, baby. She bleeds, she cries, she breaks—but she never stops.

The game doesn’t go full open world, but it flirts with the idea enough to make exploration exciting. The environment design is top-tier—lush forests, eerie tombs, and creepy ancient ruins all beautifully wrap around the dark mystery of Yamatai and the mythical Sun Queen. The storytelling keeps you hooked, even if it occasionally leans into the melodrama.

Combat feels gritty and satisfying, upgrades are rewarding, and those stealth bow kills? Chef’s kiss. It’s a classic case of “over-the-top but we love it anyway,” and it works brilliantly.

Tomb Raider is the perfect origin story—brutal, emotional, and empowering. Lara doesn’t just survive. She evolves. And we get to witness every bloodied, muddy, glorious second of it.
