Stage 3 glitch-default settings

When I played this game earlier (Twin Cobra-default settings), there were no air enemies on stage 3-only ground enemies. This is the first time this has happened to me and the air enemies returned for stage 4. There are supposed to be air enemies on all stages of this game. Juts wondering if anyone else out there has had this problem too.

I'll chalk this one up to a porting glitch
