Maiden Tower puzzle swing error

@ the end of the puzzle. i can't swing into the cage. It looks like i jump to high and i get blocked by the bar itself. Wich is weird, because al the other swings in maiden tower works but only at the cage not. i got Ishak Pasha's Armor and Janissary's sabel.
Can this be fixed? Or work around? Does anyone have suggestions?

This is not something I've seen before personally. Are you perhaps able to show a small video, so I can see what you're referring to?

If you haven't done so already, tried enabling V-Sync. It can help with older titles when mechanics don't work correctly.

There is nothing wrong with the game you have to hold the "Shift"-key when you jump so that he grapples the bar. Keep holding "SPACE" and he will jump down fine

Necro: can confirm this bug.

- Playing on 144Hz -> on the final jump from the ledge onto the bar just in front of the cage with the mechanism to lift the key the jump itself will fail, as instead of grabbing the bar Ezio will hit it with his legs
- Playing on 60Hz -> same procedure, but now Ezio finally grabs the bar

Same issue with 165 Hz.

Can confirm, that changing display frequency from 240Hz to 60 solved the issue. Thumbs up.
