Need help with Assassin's Creed Revelations?
Have you witnessed any bugs, has your game crashed or are you experiencing some performance issues with the game?

Please use Steam's 'Search Discussions' search box, to first look for other player threads about the same issue. We will often mark threads with a blue tick checkmark to show an answer was found in that thread, that resolves that particular issue.

Network Ports:
UDP: 3074, 7959, 14001, 21200

Save file locations:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<USER ID>\40

Ubisoft Connect launcher required:
This game also requires the Ubisoft Connect launcher to play.
Originally the game came bundled with our older game launcher, Uplay. Please download our new launcher, Ubisoft Connect, from this website > https://ubisoftconnect.com/

Controller support:
The officially supported controller for the game is the Xbox 360 controller, however other Microsoft Xbox controllers may work though not officially supported.

Connect your controller to your PC via USB connection > launch the game > select Options > Controls > Customize Controls > then select your controller from the list.
Button remapping is available in this menu also.

Minimum system requirements for Assassin's Creed Revelations

OS: Windows® XP SP3 / Windows Vista® SP2 /Windows® 7 SP1
Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo E4400 @ 2.0 GHz or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 4000+ @ 2.1GHz
Memory: 1.5 GB Windows® XP / 2 GB Windows Vista, 7
Graphics: 256 MB DirectX® 9.0–compliant card with Shader Model 4.0 or higher (see supported list)*
DirectX®: DirectX Redistributable (June 2010) or newer
Hard Drive: 12 GB
Sound: DirectX 9.0–compliant sound card
Peripherals: Keyboard, mouse, optional controller
Supported GPU: AMD Radeon™ HD2600XT or better/3000/4000/5000/6000 / NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600GTS or better/9/GT200/GT400/GT500


Running the game in Windows Compatibility mode

As with some of our older titles that were released a few years ago for different Window's OS versions, you may need to run the game in Windows Compatibility mode if using a modern PC, to emulate the Windows OS that the game originally was released for.

To do this, first locate the games .exe game file -

  • Right click on the file and select the Properties option
  • Next, select the 'Compatibility' tab
  • Select the one of the older Windows OS - Windows XP SP3/Windows Vista SP2/Windows 7 SP1
  • Select Apply
  • Select OK
  • Launch game by double clicking on the games .exe file

Please note, the game also uses the older versions of DirectX supporting software. Please make sure the older version of DirectX Redistributable is installed in your games 'Support' installation folder, if you having any problems launching the game.
