Wolfenstein: The New Order

Game will not start after launch [SOLVED]
I can't seem to make this game start. I click on the launch, it shows like would do something and goes back to windows. No error message, nothing...

I have Win 7 64, i5 CPU, 8Gb RAM, GeForce GTX 560 Ti.

Tried to update video drivers, tried to reinstall the directx from the _CommonRedist folder, check the xinput dlls.
Tried to verify integrity, restart steam.
Nothing made it work...

I don't have any other idea how to make it work. I don't have this problem with any other of my 300 games...

Any idea how can i make it start?

well I have a very similar setup and it works fine with no tweaks. finding whats different on yours is the question. perhaps someone here could help:

tried to run as admin, to run in win 7 compatibility and still no success:(
also my rigg can run this game...i'm running Crysis3 on it...

any other ideas?;/

i just downgraded my video drives from 347.09 to 335.23 as it's written on that forum, still same thing.

I don't think it's from my computer as we are having more the same issue. Looks like a Steam related thing tbh...

my save games are in C:\user\xxxxxx\Saved Games\Machine Games
do you have that directory and is it writeable?

i had that iobit program, uninstalled it...no change
tried to delete the game, delete the save folder, re-download...no change

Have you tried to remove all peripherals you dont need (Everything except keyboard and mouse).

I re-installed my microsoft .NET framework (repaired) http://www.microsoft.com/net and after I restarted my PC the game ran fine
