If your using voice chat - you need to disabled OMD2 in game voice chat, it is known to cause issues for Steam players.
OMD3 is just as bad guys, join a co-op game, 6 or 7 problems occur different behaviors end up with crashing the game. Its not your PC, its not your network, its the game and servers with UPD packets going into the void.
Endless can overwhelm the game experience co-op after 25 rounds in OMD3. I'd say OMD2 is about the same, by the time you hit 40-50 sometimes It slows down due to the UPD connection. Not the PC man.
But yeah going back to basic settings can help. I had to limit the FPS to play OMD2
Yeah jump in some lava, die by an orcs mallet before end of round.
Anything is worth a go.
