Same problem here...I can config everything BUT steering. When I try to config steering the game freezes. Logitech MOMO wheel

same problem also... everything works except steering . Logitech wingman formula force gp. Any admin from steam here ? how to post for a bug ?

Ok here is what worked for me with Vista. Go to C/programs x86/steam/steamapps/common/Dirt showdown/actionmap. Then right click on lg_g25.xml and click edit. About the third line down you will see actionmap name lg_g25 device name. Change the device name to the name of your wheel as shown in the control panel. In my case it was "Logitech MOMO Racing USB". Just make sure you copy it exactly.Hope this helps.

Did you change something more in this xml file?: No
Did you change the name of the xml file?: No

Something required inside of the game?: Yes. Navigate through menus to Controls menu. Under advanced options you have Default option. Press enter in this one and now "Fanatec CSR Wheel" will appear added to keyboard option! Select it.

Can I now configure CSR Wheel and the game will not be frozen?: Yes. Feel free to assign your mappings. Game will not be frozen at any moment.

Did you use "actionmap" folder for Dirt 3 and did it work?: Yes, I tried it, I used Dirt 3 actionmap folder but I had NO success.

Why Codemasters support Fanatec in many others of their games and not for Showdown?: Difficult to understand for me too, money perhaps?

What did you tipe for the name? I tried it too but it wont show any connected wheels in the settings.

Hi i have the thrustmaster tx 458 italia can i just edit the tm_500rs folder in action map folder to something else? since i can only configurate my wheel from keyboard cant find my thrustmaster tx name there

I just got this trick to work with Fanatec CSW V2 Base (BMW GT Rim) and V3 Pedals (attached to base). I didn't use the logitech file though I edited the "tm_t500rs.xml" file with "ClubSport Wheel". D-Pad, Joystick and all buttons work perfectly to map
