I was going to create a ticket on your github tracker but with the update released today you fixed all my issues. Before this update I had weird colors and had to change the resolution each time I started the game to fix the colors. I also had a lot of stuttering which is also gone now.
This means I can now run this game flawlessly on radeonsi (mesa 11 RC). Everything looks correct now and there is no stuttering anymore.

Thank you so much Virtual Programming for your engagement. I will continue buying your ports when they work on radeonsi :)

Used system:
Core i5 4560
Radeon R9 270X
8 GB RAM

No saved games or profiles should have been corrupted by the update, as nothing has changed in this regard.

i have a dual head setup, but the game always start on the first head, where my main one is the second. Is there any way to choose the head

ERROR - eON failed to initialise....nice

that is not helpful... if you are asking for help, check the logs and post the error... and also hardware, OS, drivers (and did you update the drivers?)

His problem was that he was running the game from an NTFS formatted external drive. For some reason, this causes libICU to fail to load its data file. I'm not quite sure why that would be happening, but it's safe to say NTFS under Linux is not a usual scenario!

So this won't be fixed?

We'll look into it, but right now we are very busy with several projects... so it is not high priority. Very few people are trying to play the game from an NTFS drive - most people are using ext4, xfs or reiserfs. The games work on those filesystems correctly.

Some reports from strace might help us narrow it down sooner, if you are experiencing this problem

No, I am not, just curious :)
