Being able to re-spec nodes instead of the entire tree when you want to change something is a great change. It also makes the new tree much more manageable as you can try out different things as you get more familiar with it without really feeling like you need to make the "right" choices as everything can be reversed.
I have a lvl 170 character and already 14-18 extra skill points = where to invest them ?? O_O ..
spend 10 points to replenish damage by 10% of the element ??
or increase health by 3%-5%-7% O_O
Or maybe increase damage by 6-8 units ??? O_O .
This is a drop in the ocean. Such an inappropriate expenditure of skill points.

For developers: Expand the skill tree. On top of the main one. Make it like it was in the first season.
And it would be better to combine all three trees from each season. At least then you can expand on builds.
But at the moment it is very simple and almost primitive.
build is built, skills are distributed. The rest where? to damage the boss?
well, the old problems are still not solved.
% adds not a percentage, but one (damage)
some monograms do not work at all (20 dex 1% damage)
