I've finished Geneforge 1 (the original), but I'm kind of stuck on Geneforge 2. I'm not really sure how to proceed. I'm trying to get through the game without using any canisters or other enhancements and I've got up to the point where my creatures just can't hit enemies any more, only having a 10% or so chance to hit, with bless bringing it up to maybe 30%. When I click to play the game it comes up with the little resolution box and goes to a black screen but instead of loading the game it closes the window. I know it used to work for me as I have 16 hours put into it. Tried reinstalling it, verifying the cache etc. Any help would be appreciated as it's rather odd for a game that did work to stop working....
