great puzzle game with an intriguing story

I always like to say that Annapurna never misses, I'm so happy that they haven't dropped the ball with this one, Lorelei and The Laser Eyes was a great surprise to me, I didn't know what to expect at first but few minutes after playing I knew that this game was special, not only because of the "seeded" puzzles, making it more fun to replay, making it every playthrough a different experience, but because it took me back to a time when you had to rely on things of the real world to play, took me back to when I had to write down answers in games, Zelda Puzzles, GTA Cheat Codes, etc. Lorelei and The Laser Eyes sometimes feel just like an interface for the real game happening in your notebook, that's such a great feeling. Loved it!

Another thing that I have to say is that, as a puzzle game, Lorelei is one of the best there is, very similar in a way to Tunic or Outer Wilds, where your knowledge is what prevents you from moving forward, Puzzle Games like that you don't see very often. The puzzles are not necessarily hard, but they challenge you to think without making you feel very dumb. Lorelei is the best mix of puzzle box and escape room and for that, one of the best games I played in 2024.

Holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ what a Phenomenal game. Puzzles were engaging, and wonderfully challenging while managing to never frustrate me. The worst it got was me stopping for the night when I couldn't immediately think of a way forward, just to figure it out a bit later.
The story was amazing. Interesting, and wonderful, and tragic, and I love it to bits
