Game performance, Periodic stutters

Downloaded the game on the most recent sale (May 20 2025). The game seems to drop frames and stutter every couple of seconds. First thought maybe the video settings need to be adjusted but even on everything set to low or disabled getting the same frame drop and stutters. Any help would be appreciated.

System specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
RX 6700XT

yeah, not alone. been getting it a lot, keeps happening after the first boss, also getting menu glitching that causes me to restart the game

I played it on Xbox app and had no issues so I disabled the Steam overlay and it fixed it for me. A lot of games perform better for me on xbox app than steam though. Maybe disabling overlay fixes them all.
