It's mostly because people refuse to read the threads and just sit there wishing that they could play the game when it's been possible for years - just kinda frustrating

I can see and admit my error in not properly researching before starting to ask questions.
But as part of a comunity you have to understand new people will be joining and having dumb questions all the time, and if that ofends you so much you just feel like you have to be a ♥♥♥♥ about it... well, thats just sad, specially when you consider the fact no one is obligated to answer.

Without the mod, the game is indeed dead and only display a white screen as that old official server has been offline for the last 6 years.
The only way to play it is to join the discord and follow the instructions to add the mod files which allow you to connect to the community servers and play the game.
