I hope you all had a terrific summer and are now feeling refreshed and ready for gaming season! My summer, on the other hand, was quite different. No free time for me—I’ve been working my *** off to finish this new game! But that's okay :) There's still a lot of work ahead (final testing and polishing can be brutal), so I'll keep this brief. If you follow me on social media, you probably already know that Wonder Ball will officially release on November 7th. And, one month before that, you'll be able to get your hands on the demo!

With Steam's new feature allowing demos to have their own store pages, you can even wishlist the demo now. So, go ahead and do that—you won’t want to miss out!

Now, what can you expect from the demo? It will feature the entire first world of the game! Depending on your playstyle, it should take about 2 to 3 hours to complete. Please note that arcade modes and achievements won't be available in the demo, for anyone wondering. However, there’s plenty of replayability, and it’ll give you a solid feel for the core gameplay loop, helping you decide if the game is right for you when it launches.

It's been a while since the release of Office Run, and what a journey it has been! The past two years have been absolutely crazy for me. I've been pouring my heart into developing my second video game while simultaneously working on several new books and juggling a full-time job. (Definitely not recommended to anyone!) It's been a rollercoaster ride, with its fair share of challenges and health issues along the way. But let me tell you, every moment of hard work and perseverance has been worth it.

Reflecting on this journey, I'm incredibly proud of the progress I've made as a developer since my first game. I was pleasantly shocked by the positive feedback and the incredible milestone of over 50,000 copies claimed. What's even more amazing is that some players are still coming back to the game even after years. It was just a humble "test project" to see what's what. And it almost feels like a lifetime ago when I was still learning the basics of Unreal Engine and didn't know the first thing about any of it. And now, I am finally nearing the release of my second game...

It's an action 3D platformer with fast-paced gameplay and low-poly style graphics. Inspired by the biggest classics of the genre. Full of platforming levels, combat arenas, many collectibles and secrets. You can find out more on Store page.

Surprise early release of Halloween Run is here! This DLC contains completely new environment with spooky atmosphere and new themed obstacles. Gameplay’s core comes from the base game’s Arcade mode with three difficulties and introduces new cycle system with monsters hunting the player and partial backwards running. There are 7 cycles, each with different monster and increasing difficulty. Can you survive all of them?

There was also small patch released for the base game today. Update 1.17 adds multiple visual enhancements to the game.

I have big news for you today! New content is coming to the game soon! DLC Halloween Run will contain completely new environment with spooky atmosphere and new themed obstacles. Gameplay’s core will come from the base game’s Arcade mode with three difficulties and will introduce new cycle system with monsters hunting the player and partial backwards running.

With the upcoming DLC there is also new update for the base game released today. You can find the full list of changes from update 1.16 below:

Hello, fellow Office Runners!

Firstly, I would like to share a few words with you. Although I have some prior experience with game development, it was very minor and so long ago that I truly feel like Office Run is my first game ever. It’s been over two months since launch and I didn’t expect anything even close to this (see image below). I would like to thank you all for playing the game and the feedback provided including some bizarre funny reviews (both good and bad).

I thought I’m pretty much done with this game after the last update. Actually, I’m working on my second game already. It’s much bigger project and it will take some time until I am ready to share something with you, so I decided to go back to Office Run one more time and added some new features based on your feedback. And I must say, I am still not sure if this is the final word. I have some ideas for the additional content, so better stay tuned! 😊

Before update 1.15 you could play only Campaign mode. Now you can switch to Arcade with three difficulties to choose from (Casual, Normal, Hard). This mode is suitable for players who simply want to hunt highscore and don’t want to be bothered with the need of improving character’s skills and upgrading abilities. Casual difficulty has also a lot less obstacles, so now even less experienced players can enjoy the game.

• Magnetic Shoes upgrade updated (now possible to also change lanes mid-air)

• Completely reworked the back-end of Highscores tables to fix the issues with too many players submitting the score at the same time (this was actually done some time ago, but there was only very small hotfix needed for the game)
  
• Now mostly obstacles are spawning while on low energy (before only obstacles were spawning)
  
• Information in How To Play menu section updated
  
• Many small and cosmetic changes to improve overall gaming experience

• Get Promoted button is now highlighted when enabled

• Upgrades button is now highlighted when any upgrade points are available

• After reaching 100% experience (on any level) you receive coins also for collecting report folders
  
• You receive bonus coins for destroying obstacles
  
• Game is now automatically paused while in background
  
• Game is now automatically paused when controller is unplugged (only during run)
  
• Game is now automatically paused when Steam overlay is activated
  
• Several minor bugfixes
