Honestly, I'm torn on this one. Presentation, graphics, sound design and atmosphere are all really well done. There were some good creepy moments. But I was hoping for more intensity and something that makes you dread going though the next door.

The story isn't really anything to write home about. Not against the messages that are being conveyed, but i feel it could have been done better with more subtlety. A little too on the nose, for my tastes. They should have kept the reveal for the latter half of the game while teasing it throughout the game to keep you playing. And, the ghosts blatantly telling you they are not a threat and give all this info about their existence kills any real tension or fear of them. This is not psychological horror by any stretch. More like a light horror themed mystery thriller.

Gameplay was underwhelming as well. I was hoping to fight ghosts with the camera, something similar to Fatal Frame. But the camera is really only used for puzzle solving.

The first world is probably the best level (which is what the demo consists of) and is the reason i bought the game. But after that, it loses most of its impact and was slightly boring to play through. At least it was somewhat short, clocking in at 3 hours.

Not terrible, but could have been better.

enjoyable and relatable game with some tricky puzzles and a few little jump scares.
