Daniel, you're doing an awesome job with this game! It is totally awesome from a Spore-fan perspective.
However, as a parent of a nine year old, I had to witness some really bad chat language yesterday. Other players were chatting "♥♥♥♥ you", "♥♥♥♥♥", "Piss off", "Go to hell" and all the like to my offspring.

Now, I understand, multiplayer is *the thing* nowadays and many multiplayer games suffer from the same problem: mobbing, flaming, cursing. That is ruining other players' days.

I'd like you to consider implementing A) a guided chat, B) a report+ban feature or C) disable free text chat.

Please take the time and have a look at the "PK XD" game[site.playpkxd.com] in Android/App Store. What they did is pretty awesome. They've implemented a preformulated chat system with translations in many languages. That way, lets say someone speaking only Spanish but not Polish can choose a chat message "¿Quieres ser mi amigo?" and a Polish player gets to see "Chcesz być moim przyjacielem?" ("Do you want to be my friend?").
In PK XD players cannot type free text. But they don't need to, because the questions and answers cover many situations, e.g.:

• "good bye, I've got to go"
  
• "do you want to meet again?"
  
• "ok, when?"
  
• "tomorrow, same time?"

Here's a user story for you:
As a player I want to get a list of players and their chat messages while I was playing close to them so that I can select a player for reporting hurtful language so that such a player get's an enforced ban for a week. Yes, one week, it has to hurt the ones harassing victims.

If, for some reason, you cannot do A) or B) soon, please please please do C).
Disable the free text chat asap.
