I like Klondike, so I think Sawayama is the closest variant, even though reading the rules I understand the changes. But what I don't understand is: In Klondike, the dealt card stacks are not visible (face down) except for the first playable card, and once you start creating your own stacks you can see what is playable and what is not. I've been able to win a game or two on every other game so far, but Fortune's Foundation has me thoroughly stumped. I've seen the advice to keep an empty tableau slot to use to reverse/move stacks which has come in handy but I still brick before even clearing a single tableau stack down to the bottom. Does the game guarantee a winnable deal or is it just luck? Every time I deal out a new game I find myself just redealing when I see the the 2s, Fools and Worlds trapped far up the tableau piles....
