Hello backrooms explorers!!

The wait is over, after this time we bring you a new update with new interesting things!


A complete rework of the following levels has been done bringing with it new challenges and dangers in the game

LOBBY: The entire design was changed and new puzzles were added, making it a more challenging level to start with.
ABANDONED OFFICE: Complete redesign, while keeping the original puzzles, new ones were added, the secret entrances to other levels are still found in this level.
PARKING: A totally new design of the entire level was made, with new puzzles and a new entity that lives in this level.
FUN LEVEL: It was redesigned but still maintains the same dynamics
RUN FOR LIFE: New design and new challenges keeping the same objective.

• Crawling: Added the ability for the player to crawl by pressing the Z key by default
  
• The player's stamina has increased, however, it will now drop faster if you are being chased by an entity.
  
• From now on the VHS effect will always be active, thus providing a more backroom-like experience.
  
• The position of the geiger counter in darkrooms has changed.
  
• New revive animations
  
• New settings menu.
  
• New match menu
  
• The lighting in some levels has been improved.

Greetings Backrooms Explorers!

We are excited to announce the launch of our special Christmas event: "Christmas Rescue". This holiday season brings with it a unique and exciting challenge, where you will have the chance to win up to three exclusive gifts.

Santa's reindeer have been captured by a group of evil goblins and they need your help to get home in time for Christmas. Your mission is simple but challenging: save the reindeer using your skills.

• Immobilize the goblins : Locate the evil goblins on the map and throw snowballs at them to temporarily immobilize them. But beware! Goblins are cunning and fast.
  
  
• Attract the Reindeer: Once the area is secure, use cookies to attract the reindeer. Some christmas socks with cookies will be scattered all over the map, so keep your eyes open.

Each player has the chance to win up to three exclusive christmas cosmetics that are only available during this event. Don't miss the opportunity to add these items to your collection!

Important:
In order to activate the event you should play from the lobby level and then look for santa letter

Enter the dark and enigmatic world of the "Level 931". This level will surprise you with its lighting and vegetation, but don't let your guard down, because it also hides dark and scary places full of intriguing puzzles. And beware, a dangerous new entity lurks every step you take...

You can access this level by completing the game with the escape ending.

We now give you complete control over your backrooms experience! With this update, you can now select which entities you would like to find in each level. This unique feature is a true game-changer that allows you to customize your adventure in unimaginable ways.


Enhace your experience with the new vhs filter, you can decide if enable or disable it in the game settings menu.

• VOICE CHAT IMPROVED
  
• Now you can select your microphone used by voice chat in the settings.
  
• Clumps in sewer now don't insta kill you.
  
• Respawn door system improved, now it can takes you to the nearest door.
  
• Jumping enabled
  
• Stamina increased
  
• Running speed increased in the sewers
  
• Smiler now only can kill you if your sanity is very low or if you get too close.

Expand your character selection with two new skins. The gang boss and urban guy are now part of the backrooms, you can unlock theses skins by completing some levels.

Hello, new small update is here!!
This is what is new:

• Now you can invite players during the game
  
• Stamina increased 15%
  
• Controller support improved (UI Navigation improved, Run button switched to RB, crouch button switched to LB, added controller sensitivity to the settings)
  
• Added Screen Space Reflections support
  
• [Fixed] smooth camera still for ghost players even if it was deactivated in the settings
  
• [Fixed] Ghost camera was not affected by the camera sensitivity

Backrooms survivors, we have an announcement for you!!

We are celebrating the Anniversary for Inside the Backrooms, it's been an incredible year since we release the game and we owe it all to you!

For that reason we launched a celebration event for limited time with various prizes that you can get by completing it!

EVENT DETAILS:

• The mechanic is simple, find all partygoers in the lobby level and pop their balloons by throwing darts to them.
  
  
• In order to activate the event you will need to start from the lobby level and then blow the candles of the cake.
  
  
• There will be 4 partygoers with a gift for you, after completing the event you will able to select your gift, but only one gift can be selected per game session, so if you want to unlock all the rewards you will need to complete the event multiple times.

The event will be available to play until June 30.
