It's a Kairosoft game: if you like one, you'll probably like 'em all!

This one was really charming! Most of my playtime was... regretfully done in one sitting, I couldn't stop playing for about fifteen hours. Play this one on your day off, to say the least! The cute critters and options for building up your campground are really charming -- there's a lot of flexibility and freedom not just to build facilities for your campers, but to beautify the space! On the flip side, the store management side of the game is a master-class in learning to min-max the space available to you. I spent literal hours rearranging my store and selectively choosing where to place various beneficial decor to get the most out of the space I had to work with. This was not necessary to progress, I did it because I wanted to -- it feels GOOD to make the most out of this game! Forest Camp Story has a very solid gameplay loop and I would've enjoyed this one even at full-price. One of my favorites from Kairosoft so far!
