Can't start the game anymore

While exiting the final door on Chapter 3 (the mirror floor/walls ones), my game froze and I had to force quit the game. Afterwards, I cannot start the game anymore. The play screen looks like this: https://imgur.com/mBGv7jm (despite the fact that I have 2hrs ish played). No buttons work except for O, which brings me back to the title screen. Please advise.

Any updates here? I cannot start/play even after reinstalling the game. Completely stuck.
