Idol Placement

I just got to having Idols. Before I place any, I want to know where they impact.

In many games you put stuff like that around their homes, and it affects them everywhere. How about this game? If I want longer life for my norsemen do I have to put Life Idols over the entire town?

Some information would be very helpful.

Nevermind. I found the answer myself. For anyone else who comes here looking, as you go to place an idol there's a tooltip showing you that it's for homes.

I recommend for future builds that you leave a small gap for idols from when you build your first housing area.
