This community is starting to slowly piss me off. Limbus Company is a shadow continuation of the popular trilogy that began with Lobotomy Corporation, which released some time ago. That first title was created by only a small handful of developers, and even now, despite being in a stronger position than before, Project Moon is still a relatively small indie studio. Many of the negative reviews overlook this background and act as if review bombing couldn’t damage the studio’s reputation.

Even against all odds, they managed to make a hole in the market. They gave us a gacha game, but this time it wasn't your typical Genshin give us your money and you MIGHT play the game type of experience. Limbus Company is generous, to the point where it is almost pointless to buy the in-game currency, which is the main income for gacha games. Most of the players are able to get the majority of the IDs without even having to pull for them thanks to the shard mechanic. Which, if you've been in the gacha genre for a while, is INSANE.

The game has amazing quality. Though I have to say, the beginning of the game is rather slow. Yes, the beginning might be boring, yes, the first 2 cantos might be a little uninteresting for individuals who are used to cool lights and flashes, but honestly? What do you expect from a studio that had almost no budget to begin with? They could have kept the old quality, but instead they actually went out of their way and tried to push the bar further—and succeeded. They give us new content EVERY week. I am honestly surprised that people don't value this kind of behavior and communication from the developers, especially nowadays when companies don't care about their product and try to sell you a half-baked game that was not even tested properly.

Final point: Why am I so mad?
The review bombing has become a real issue for this game. Every time there is but a slight issue, every time Kim Jihoon threatens to nerf an identity—and YES, I am taking into account that he himself stated after the Yi Sang drama that he will not be nerfing any other identities in the future—people start to massively review bomb. Are we this much of ungrateful ♥♥♥♥♥? Hello, people, we have a studio here that genuinely TRIES their best in creating a game that we will actually enjoy. They never tried to pull tricks on us AND always apologized for everything. EVEN when Kim Jihoon considered nerfing Mao Faust—people were supposed to be compensated for the lunacy they'd spent. Other studios would not give a single ♥♥♥♥ about you crying about a potential nerf.

Somewhere at the start of September, a new issue arose that made some people, including me, not able to play the game. Will I write a negative review? ♥♥♥♥ no. Why? Because it just doesn't make sense. Am I supposed to forget EVERYTHING the studio has ever done in MY favor and just kick them in the ass for messing up a single time? C'mon people, does that seriously make sense to y'all? This game is their legacy, their living. They will fix it and get it running. Just please, for god’s sake, have a little patience. We have something precious on our hands—developers who care, something that has become a rarity in the last few years. So please, don't burn them out by blatantly review bombing the game.

The game is literally, no joke, currently unplayable. It doesn't function.
