However, after our major update on June 19th, we became aware of certain performance issues encountered by our players. To address this problem, we are optimizing the game itself and providing a comprehensive setting guide to assist you in quickly addressing any debugging needs.

Furthermore, we would like to apologize to players who have encountered game crashes. As we completely rebuilt the game using UE5, the transition to the new system has introduced changes that may result in crashes or malfunctions for players who had previously downloaded "Wandering In Space."

We are actively working on game optimizations, the best solution at this time is to uninstall the game and download it again. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this process.
To ensure that every player enjoys smooth gameplay and resolves any performance-related challenges, we have prepared an all-inclusive setting guide. This guide caters specifically to Pico and Quest 2 headset users, as well as those utilizing SteamVR.

We have exciting news to share: the highly anticipated remake of "Wandering In Space" will be released! We have taken all the valuable feedback and suggestions from our dedicated players and implemented numerous improvements to make this version even better.Enjoy the current version and get ready for our future updates, including more story-based missions, an an array of sleek and stylish space armors, and the exhilaration of open-world gameplay.

Here are some of the new features and fixes you can look forward to:

First of all, Wandering In Space is remade in Unreal Engine 5!

● An improved experience to interact with game items! Instead of picking up materials and supplies randomly on the floor, we have created ammo boxes, potion supply boxes, and material collection cabinets in game. To collect ammos and supplies, interact with the boxes or open the combination lock.
● Added left-hand support! Choose your preference in the main menu or at the start.
● Added password-protected gates, which require entering the correct password to unlock and provide valuable materials or supplies.
● Trap mechanisms, including flamethrowers, machine guns, and laser cannons, have been added to floors 3, 4, 5, and 6.
● Three new exo-armor suits have been introduced: Predator, Overseer, and Infiltrator, each with different skills and attributes. Unlock them by completing 6 floors.
● The layout of safe house is changed, including the potion supply room and a material recycling machine that is moved to the side of elevator.
● Twelve new level maps have been added.
● More customization options, including turning and sound effects customization, are now available.
● Melee weapon Electric Blades are available for duel wielding
● Physics simulation for storing bullets and revolvers at the waist.
● Zombie health bars have been added, with the option to toggle their visibility.

● Armed soldiers can now alternate between rifles and handguns, with added actions like sprinting and crouching. They can seek cover and engage in combat with players.
● Patrol and attack logic of flamethrowers and poison soldiers has been optimized, ensuring immediate engagement upon spotting players.
Weak points for these enemies are added where attacking their fuel backpacks causes double damage.
● Killer drones have improved intelligence, seeking cover and retreating when low on health, as well as adjusting flight height in complex terrain.
● Regular zombies now have improved attack and patrol states, and a sound-based patrol and player search system has been added.

● Changed the color of blood splatters on zombies to light blue.
● Mutants, cyborgs, and bomber zombies now leave blood stains when hit.
● Fuel backpack soldiers and armed soldiers leave bullet hole marks when hit.
● Adjusted parameters for blackouts and lights-off situations in the game.
● Optimized attack effects of fuel backpack soldiers, armed soldiers, and killer drones.
● Reduced performance impact of flamethrowers' flame, ice, poison, and explosion effects.
● Optimized lag caused by explosive effects of toxic zombies and death smoke.
● Improved pistol sight angle.
● Enhanced visual feedback from killing zombies.
● Modified and optimized the game settings interface.
● Revamped the base upgrade interface, including character, armmory, and backpack upgrades.
● Modified the interface for unlocking weapons and crafting bullets, adding new weapon wall interface and bullet crafting interface.
● Improved logic capture of the weapon selection interface.
● Optimized viewing of potion buff values.
● Provided an option to skip the tutorial at the beginning.
● Added save function: Players can create and load save slots.

● Modified and optimized the game settings interface.
● Revamped the base upgrade attribute interface, including character, firearms, and backpack upgrades.
● Modified the interface for unlocking weapons and crafting bullets, adding new weapon wall interface and bullet crafting interface.
● Improved logic capture of the weapon selection interface.
● Optimized viewing of potion buff values.
● Provided an option to skip the tutorial at the beginning instead of forcing players to go through it.
● Added save function: Players can create and load save slots with a limit on the number of saves.

● Optimized the sound of patrol, detection, attack, hit, and death sounds of zombies.
● Added spatial surround sound effects for zombies and environmental objects.

● Streamlined the beginner flow in the prologue, where players only need to complete the tutorial or choose to skip it to awaken in the hibernation pod.
● Lowered the overall difficulty of the prologue and optimized mission guidance.
● Modified the tower climbing process. After players teleport to the base for the first time, the base facilities will be in a blackout state. Players need to follow the arrow instructions to complete corresponding dialogue sequences, then go to the first, second, and third floors to obtain energy cores and return to the base to activate the corresponding facilities. After activating all three cores, players can officially start climbing the tower.

● Resolved the issue in the tutorial that prevented players from shooting during a two-handed grip.
● Addressed the problem in the prologue where monsters only walked or jogged instead of running until the player collected the 393 samples.
● Rectified the issue of blurry text.
● Fixed the problem that prevented the menu from being accessed to view settings during tutorial levels.
● Fixed the effects of certain weapons when firing and hitting enemies
● Eliminated the occurrence of fuel backpack soldiers' effects passing through walls
● Resolved the issue of duplicate buffs.
● Fixed the blending of supply stations with the background.
● Corrected the abnormal brightness that occurred after adjusting game brightness settings.

Thank you for all your patience! It has been a while since our last update and here is some great news for the new year!

Many of you probably know we have been working on multiplayer PvE for a while and lots of you have expressed interest which we are grateful for. The good news is we are already testing our server and it won’t take too long before the alpha test! Join our discord group to pair up with your fellow teammates.

In the meanwhile, we are also working on the remake of the single-player version (Early Access) on Steam. After the initial release, this version has grown so much with everyone’s help: we adopted most of your suggestions and feedback and optimized our player experiences, especially item interaction. The hope is to deliver the full version as soon as possible and to bring more fun experiences to you all.

The full release will include a completely standalone version (single-player) with a separate multiplayer PvE & PvP. Our developers have been working diligently and we’d love to share what we are working on now:

• Adding full left-handed support.
  
• Adding new gameplay such as random missions on each floor: time challenge or combat skill challenge.
  
• Adding a reward center on each floor for players to get extra rewards after completing challenges.
  
• Adding a new global player ranking to simultaneously check personal data or global player data.
  
• Adding lockers and locker search functions to get more crafting materials.
  
• Adding haptic feedback when interacting with the weapon
  
• Optimizing enemy kill difficulty (the default HP will increase by 50%)
  
• Optimizing game enemy AI.
  
• Optimizing damage feedback, especially for the headshot.
  
• Modeling and animation rigging for the “Wayfarer” Exo-armor suit.

For a multiplayer game, we are developing a variety of multiplayer collaboration gameplay:

For those who are new to our game and who haven’t come back to our game since the early release, we want to summarize the changes that have been made:

• Finished the development of Early Access as well as a free demo.
  
• Added a mandatory tutorial at the beginning of the game.
  
• Completed 6 level maps.
  
• Finished the development of combat and weapon systems which included 6 firearms and 1 melee weapon.
  
• Added a variety of enemies with different skills.
  
• Added an armor upgrade system for future armor customization.
  
• Added 3 types of character skills: Infiltrator, Predator, and Overseer
  
• Added a backpack system to collect 6 kinds of raw materials, including 2 rare materials.
  
• Finished a level system with random BUFF reward in each level, safe room rewards selection, and blackout mode.
  
• Finished the concept art for exo suit armor.

This year we also have way more things on the list and we can’t wait to share them with you:

• We will work closely with Pico and PSVR to release our game on their platform.
  
• We will add LIV support to provide better streaming experiences for content creators.
  
• We will support multiple archives in the standalone version.
  
• We will add new skill chips as well as a new character "Defender", who can summon drones to scout and attack the enemy from a long distance or to summon machine gun towers to build a defensive front in situ.
  
• We will add 4 new armor suits for each character: Infiltrator, Overseer, Predator, and Defender
  
• We will update the story of "Garden of Eden".
  
• We will add a new game mode: "Homeland" which allows the players to travel back and forth between space and earth and build their own “home” in space.
  
• We will add new gameplay such as assisting the reinforcements by destroying the anti-aircraft turrets in the area; or providing 3D print AI bodies using cell materials.
  
• We will add survival gameplay such as growing crops, synthesizing water, taking in survivors, manufacturing weapons and equipment, etc
  
• We will add more open-world exploration experiences...you can imagine.

It's been a while since we had major updates last time. As some of you might know, the PVE &PVP production is going full speed ahead. While we are occupied in delivering new contents, it is also our priority to make sure all the current feedback and suggestions are properly addressed.

• A tutorial is added to the demo,
  
• The initial state of the weapon is upgraded by 50% to provide beginners with better combat experiences.

• The aiming circle is expanded and a crosshair is added for assistance;
  
• Game setting has been optimized: the selected status will no longer show "turn on/off", Once the corresponding option is selected, the selection box will turn green.
  
• Snap turning and smooth turning function has been optimized.
  
• The arrow color is changed to be more noticeable, especially for the elevator.
  
• The dialogue from AI has been optimized.
  
• In the upgrade center, backpack upgrade label is changed from "auxiliary upgrade" to "backpack upgrade".
  
• Changed magazines color to "white".

• 50% more blood for training targets in the training range and tutorial.

• Fixed UAV killer model display failure.
  
• Fixed the issue when activating the invisibility skill, the left-hand remains visible.
  
• Fixed the issue of unable to proceed the commander messages after clearing the level for the first time.
  
• Fixed the predetor skill failure caused by inadequet operation.
  
• Fixed the loading of enemy textures to ensure better combat experiences.
