It's a slow burn with an interesting premise. There are some parts that don't make sense, but it's dismissible. Although the lore is appealing, the story-telling is passive and does not do anything with itself. No action or consequence results from all that is discussed.

The pace of the entire game is slow, but all of a sudden, a lot of information is revealed at the ending. The revelations are interesting, but again, nothing is done with it. It felt as though the story was only then getting interesting, but abruptly ended and focusing on how the characters settled down instead. There is no conflict, climax, rising action or tension.

Writing is better compared to other games by the developer, but again the story-telling is passive with just two characters conversing. There is a lot to read in this game. You can skip the dialogue, which helps to get the different endings.


Very VERY few choices. A lot of chapters with no choices. Choices are inconsequential, except for the final few that determine which ending you get. You can save and load files to try to get different endings.


99% of the story is conversations between the protagonist whom we play as, and their love interest. Few other characters from their past are mentioned only in dialogue. The characters' backgrounds are well-thought out and interesting. However, it can get tedious as there is no change in perspective or scenery. Quite one-dimensional, there is no character growth.

Since both characters spend a lot of time together, it's believable that they grow fond of each other. However, the romance goes from 0 to 100 real quick towards the ending. They go from constantly keeping a respectable distance to intense affection in a day, it's uncomfortable and unnatural.


Still image of both main characters in a single pose with around 3 subtle facial expressions each. No animations, special scenes or illustrations. The character images just overlap each other when they are narrated to be hugging or facing each other. Simple stuff.

The dialogues are voiced, but I can't say much about it because I turned them off after hearing 3 lines. I can't tell if it's because it was bad or if I'm just not used to it. To me, it sounded like anime dubbing. The same music is on loop throughout the entire play. Around two other soundtracks for when the mood shifts. Some sfx would have added a nice touch.


It's a slice-of-life vampire romance trope made for those who fantasize about it. There is barely anything deep and meaningful here besides the state of things. Not really a game, just a read. If you're looking for a role-playing game, I suggest you pay a little and get a game with better user experience.
